Zolisa Sigabi
Trainer and Communications Specialist
Zolisa Sigabi’s career in the media and communications industry spans three decades. She has held senior leadership and management roles within the media, government and at NGO’s. Zolisa is experienced in the execution of strategies, systems and policies, stakeholder relations, communications, management and mentoring. She has served as National Bulletins Editor at the SABC, sat on the SABC’s Employment Equity Forum and continues to serve as a Trustee at SABC Medscheme. She has also worked as the Ministry of Labour’s national spokesperson and stakeholder relations manager.
As a member of the Management Committee of the Children’s Rights Organisation – ‘A Chance To Play SA’, Zolisa plays a leading role in forming strategic partnerships for community development projects especially in regards to children and the youth. She serves on a number of Boards which include Masimanyane Women’s Rights International - an equality and social justice NGO, A Book for Every Child Foundation and is a founder board member of the Eastern Cape Heroes Park project. Zolisa is a Trainer in Media and Communications and is a communication strategist. She is also a key player in the development of strategic partnerships between businesses and communities.
